Strait Area Chamber of Commerce
We are an active and local Chamber that is rapidly growing. We currently have over 300 members from across the Strait Area of Nova Scotia. Our Board of Directors is 16 members strong and we have a variety of committees working on specific initiatives to improve business conditions in the region.
As your local Chamber, our job is to work with you to build a stronger economy and a better community.
We do this by providing access to benefits for members including networking, learning, visibility, advocacy, and of course, DISCOUNTS to save you money. What do these benefits look like? Check out the attached Member Benefits listings for complete details on ways to strengthen purchasing power!
We also do this by being good corporate citizens ourselves, and by creating ways for us all to connect with each other. The Chamber offers support for social causes whenever possible and ensures that local non-profits that are the heart of our community can access member benefits at a special membership rate.
We also believe in the value of face-time, so we develop activities such as Celtic Oktoberfest that bring people together to support our business and cultural communities.
