Reconcept was founded in northern Germany and has been connecting renewable energy projects with investors since 1998. Through the combined expertise of an investment house and project developer, the company has established well performing projects from origination to operations equating to over 240 MW’s including solar, wind and hydro power. The country focus for new renewable projects is Germany, Finland and Canada. In Canada, reconcept has an office in Toronto, with a focus on greenfield project development and acquisitions. The company supports the need for achieving a clean grid by integrating new renewable energy projects in markets that have strong climate change policies. 

Our Business model 

• Successful business model as an independent issuer and asset manager of sustainable capital investments in combination with own international project development in the field of renewable energies (RE)
• Realization of around 240 RE projects (wind energy, photovoltaic and hydropower plants) in Germany and abroad with a nominal capacity of 380 MW
• Financing of 53 green capital investments with an investment volume of around EUR 609 million
• Successful placement of approx. EUR 275 million with more than 16,000 private investors since 1998
• Consistent expansion of project development based on the existing attractive project pipeline
