Mermaid Power makes electricity from ocean waves with unique mid-sized units ~ 25 to 100 kW.
Neptune 3 is a prototype wave energy conversion machine. It produces clean electrical energy from ocean waves. It is designed locally and was built in North Vancouver, B.C.
This proof of concept machine is designed for gathering data in the Salish Sea and will be deployed off the south coast of Keats Island. The electricity produced will feed into the BC Hydro electric grid through the net metering program.
