Holmes Maritime Inc. is a privately owned Canadian company headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia, providing port agency services to international ship owners and operators throughout eastern Canada, the Great Lakes and western Canada. 

Founded in 1993 by Louis M. Holmes, the company has grown rapidly, serving ship owners and operators and charterers around the world by providing marine port agency services of the highest caliber in an ever-changing global marketplace. 

Holmes Maritime's core business is port agency and arrangement of logistical services including port clearances, pilotage, tugs or anchorage, docking, hull, machinery and cargo surveys, provisions and supplies, repairs, vessel representations, as well as crew entry and exits through Immigration Canada. 

Since its inception, Holmes Maritime has continued to grow its reputation within the highly competitive shipping industry in Canada by building up a loyal international and local client base.
